PAST CAMPAIGNS
This year 7 Pathfinder staff attended Pathfinder Leadership Convention. We learned about Organization, Communication, Team Building, Nature, Discipline, and much more. Our staff spent time rejuvenating their relationship with Jesus so we could have a better focus to share with our Pathfinders.
At registration this year one pathfinder attended. We registered Savannah and hoped for the best. With her smiling face and bubbly personality what more could we ask for.
On Sunday, August 28, we hosted a Pathfinder Family Jamboree at the Church Pavilion. We started with some “get to know you” games, beautiful sidewalk chalk drawing and water balloon fun, then had food and lemon popsicles. We ended the day with more fun games and some cleanup. Overall we enjoyed just having fun together.
First Club Meeting on August 31 Kaylee Daniel joined our Pathfinder Club and we are very excited to have her. Each girl made a poster demonstrating the pledge and also a sign for advertising the food sales for the Church Yard sale.
Last Monday at the Church Yard Sale, Pathfinders sold concessions of nachos with cheese, IBC root beer, lemon popsicles, water and soda. Since it was a cold rainy day most people enjoyed our nachos and cheese.
We have had a full and exciting start to the year and are looking forward to more fun and exhilarating activities. Most importantly, we are exploring and seeking a closer walk with Jesus this year.

We hiked along the paths watching armadillos and wild horses, trekked on the beach enjoying the sand and seashells, climbed sprawling Southern Oaks, listened to a Sabbath sermon on dunes, and saw old ruins of historic mansions. On the returning ferry ride, we fed seagulls by hand and watched dolphins play in our wake. Wow!

PAST CAMPAIGNS
For the past few weeks we have started a pen pal relationship with a few of the residents of Hickory Valley Assisted Living Center. Our Pathfinders enjoyed reading their letters and responding to their new friends. On Sabbath, November 13, we were invited to have a special lunch and meet our new friends.
On October 30 at the Standifer Gap Fall Festival, Pathfinders challenged the church youth to have as much fun as we do on the Jacobs Ladder. We raised $76.00 for our new hoodies.
Every Autumn Pathfinders collect can food for the Thanksgiving season to pass out food baskets to less fortunate families. This year we collected 198 food items and were able to partner with the Samaritan Center to help two families in need. Our Pathfinders delivered the food to their doors Wednesday the 17th.
The first weekend in November, Taya and Mrs. Becky were challenged to spend a weekend fasting to raise money for World Vision. They participated in many games and activities to realize the challenges that surround people in underdeveloped countries. They were joined by a lot of teens from the Georgia Cumberland Conference and were successful in their mission.
November 7, we held the Flag Ceremony for the dedication and ribbon cutting on the new Family Life Center. Our juniors marched the flag in and led out in the Pledge of Allegiance.
